U15 Girls win CSC Adidas Cup!
The BSC U15 Cardinal Girls team won the Charlotte Soccer Club Adidas Cup tournament over the weekend of August 23-24th. The girls finished with 2 wins and 1 tie in preliminary rounds and won the finals against a tough Concord Fire team from Atlanta. In four games, the girls scored 10 goals and only had 2 goals against. The team is coached by Taylor Saxe, one of the Directors of Coaching for BSC. BSC U17 Girls Cardinal
The BSC U17 Girls Cardinal Premier team won the Georgia FC Sr. Invitiational Cup played in Atlanta, Georgia the weekend of August 16-17. The girls won their group play with a 3-0 record and 10 goals for and only 1 goal against. The girls moved on to the championship game and won 5-1.
The Georgia FC club that hosted the tournament is an affiliate of the Atlanta Silverbacks of the USL First Division professional soccer league.
The team is coached by Taylor Saxe, one of BSC's Directors of Coaching, and is a great start for the team that will be playing in the Premier Division this Fall.   [Read more...]Fall 1st Strike Academy Details!BSC will offer the 1st Strike Academy during the 2008 Fall season. BSC College Night Information   [Read more...]U17 Girls Earn Promotion to Premier DivisionThe rising BSC Cardinal U17 girl's team earned a promotion to the NCYSA Classic Premier Division for the Fall 2008 season. This marks the first time in the history of Burlington Soccer Club that a team has progressed to the Premier Division. NCYSA Classic offers Division II, Division I and Premier Division, with the Premier being the highest level of competition in the State of North Carolina. One of the missions of BSC is to allow any player that has the commitment and talent to play, but may not have the means, an opportunity to participate in our program. With our fee structure being one of the lowest in the State of North Carolina, we have limited funds set aside for Financial Assistance.
