U16 Girls & U13 Boys - Regional Cup Success

The U13 Boy's team made it to the finals and lost a hard fought battle against a Florida team 0-1.  BSC beat the Florida team earlier in the tournament 2-0, but could not win the re-match in the finals.  The boys were down to 1 sub in the final game, and with the temperature above 100 degrees, fought hard and came up just a little short.  Great effort and performance.

The U16 Girl's team made it to the Semi-finals and lost a heart breaker in a penalty kick shoot-out.  Another great effort and performance from a Burlington Soccer Club team. 

This was the first time in the history of Burlington Soccer Club that a team played in the Region III Cup (only State Championship teams can attend) and both represented the Club tremendously.  We should all be proud of the efforts from both teams and how they represented our Club, themselves, their families and community.
